Hip Surgery for Dad on 12/29/09
You probably know this but just in case.......Dad will be having Hip Replacement surgery the Tuesday after Christmas and Dr. Liljenquist (son of John Liljenquist, Mother's first cousin) will be doing the surgery. Does anyone know how much help he will need after he gets home? All he could tell me is that he will be in rehab at the hosptial for 3-5 days and then come home. I can take a few days off work as needed to stay with him after he gets home...I guess we can assess the need after his surgery.

I do know that they get them up immediately after surgery to walking around. How much he will be able to do is a different story. Joseph is John's son..
